Getting started

What you need

• You must be 18 or older.
• Your own copy of GTA V on PC.
• FiveM, installed from fivem.net and signed in with your Cfx.re account and your Rockstar account.
• Steam, running and signed in when you connect. The server checks for it.
• The Discord desktop app, running and signed in when you connect.
• An SVNL account on this website, with your Discord and Cfx.re accounts linked.

Get your two Discord roles

There's no application. The whitelist is two roles in the SVNL Discord, and you need both to join the server:

1. Join the SVNL Discord.
2. Verify. Verifying means you agree to the Code of Conduct, the Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy.
3. Pick FiveM in the Discord's game role selection.

Once you have both roles you can connect. If the server turned you away just before you got a role, connect again: it checks your roles afresh.

Make an SVNL account and link Discord and Cfx.re

The server only lets you in if your Discord account and your Cfx.re account are both linked to one SVNL account on this website.

1. Create an account, with your email or with Sign up with Discord.
2. In account settings, link Discord: the same account that's in the SVNL Discord. An account made with Discord already has it linked.
3. Link Cfx.re: the same account you sign in to FiveM with.

If your account has a password, you'll set up two-factor authentication before you can link. Changes reach the server within a minute or so.

Connect

Start Steam and Discord first, then FiveM, signed in to the Cfx.re account you linked. Then either:

• open cfx.re/join/bjdgld in your browser, or
• press F8 in FiveM and type connect cfx.re/join/bjdgld.

The queue

Everyone goes through the queue, even when the server is quiet. A card shows your place in the queue and the estimated wait. If you drop out by accident, connect again within 5 minutes and you're moved further up.

If something goes wrong, the message you see tells you why. Troubleshooting explains each one.

Your first visit

New players arrive by plane at the airport:

1. Make your character (see below).
2. Pass the customs quiz: talk to the airport staff and answer questions about the rules. You need 80% to pass, and you get 5 attempts per visit. Failing all 5 removes you from the server, and doing that 3 times means a 24-hour ban.
3. Take the taxi tour. It shows you around the city for about 10 minutes, then you choose your first stop.

Making a character

• You get 2 character slots, or up to 5 with SVNLRP+.
• First and last names use letters only (a hyphen is fine), and they can't be the same. Joke names, staff titles and offensive words aren't allowed.
• Your character's date of birth goes in as DD/MM/YYYY, and they must be aged 18 to 100.
• Then choose your character's face, body and clothes.

Your ID card is on your phone, in the MyID app, not in your inventory.
